Luke Travers shines on Day 1 of Summer League

NBL Summer League Tracker – Day 1

New Melbourne United signee Luke Travers led his Cleveland Cavaliers to a 101-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Travers was taken with the 56th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by Cleveland and was stashed with his team at the time, the Perth Wildcats. He would continue to improve over the last year with the Wildcats before making the switch to Melbourne United in Free Agency on a 3-year-deal.

The Rockingham native had 13 points, on efficient 5/6 shooting from the field, to go with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and a game-high of four blocks in 27 minutes of game-time.

Travers also led the game in +/- with +19, which was +10 more than the next best.
