Xavier Cooks cruises through Day 2 of Summer League

NBL MVP Xavier Cooks showed his class on day 2 of NBA Summer League for the Washington Wizards.
The former captain of the Sydney Kings had 11 points in 21 minutes on an efficient 4/7 from the field to go with seven rebounds and two assists in a 91-83 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Cooks signed a multi-year deal with the Wizards during the NBL season, and saw him play 10 games in the 22-23 season for D.C. He averaged 3.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game in that late season stint.
Cooks’ Sydney teammate Dejan Vasiljevic was also on the Washington Summer League roster, however had a DNP.
