Justin Simon joins the Sydney Kings

2021 Damian Martin Trophy winner Justin Simon has joined the Sydney Kings for NBL23.
Simon has played last season in Germany’s BBL with Ratiopharm Ulm and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. Averaging 13.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 blocks for the latter. He won the league’s Best Defensive Player award.
The former Illawarra Hawk joins the Kings after they won the NBL championship last season, defeating the Tasmanian JackJumpers in a 3-0 series sweep.
The Kings put pen to paper this week while club representatives were in Las Vegas for NBA Summer League.
In his 2021 NBL season with the Illawarra Hawks, he averaged 8.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.6 blocks.
NBL23 will start in Late September-Early October.
