NBL Summer League Tracker – Day 4

Former New Zealand Breakers import Barry Brown Jnr led the Phoenix Suns in scoring as they beat the Miami Heat 73-70 on the forth day of NBA Summer League.

Brown had 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes of game-time.

Last season in the NBL, he led the New Zealand Breakers in scoring with 19.4 points per game, which was third overall in the league as he and the Breakers would make the Grand Final series where they would eventually be beaten by the Sydney Kings in game five.

New Perth Wildcats signee Keanu Pinder missed his second straight game for the Suns as he is battling a lower back injury.

Luke Travers played well for the Cleveland Cavaliers in his limited game time. The second-round pick had four points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block as they beat the Memphis Grizzlies 100-77.

Sydney King Jaylin Galloway got his first minutes in Vegas for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He had two points, an assist and a block in five minutes.

His teammate Sam Waardenburg missed out again due to injury.
