Duop Reath has near Double-Double on Day 5 of Summer League

NBL Summer League Tracker – Day 5

Duop Reath showed his NBA credentials yet again on day five of NBA Summer League. Reath came off the bench for the Portland Trailblazers in their 97-93 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

In his 24 minutes of game-time, Reath had a near double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, four of which were offensive. This came along with two assists, two steals and two blocks. Reath also led the game in +/- with +10.

The former Illawarra Hawks big man has been one of the most consistent Australians in Vegas this year, averaging 11.6 points and 8.6 rebounds over his three games with Portland.

Fellow Boomer Dyson Daniels had another great game for the Pelicans with 10 points, three rebounds, eight assists and three blocks in 30 minutes. Daniels and New Orleans beat the Phoenix Suns 82-73.

Keanu Pinder sat out of action yet again today for the Suns with lower back tightness.

Dejan Vasiljevic saw his first minutes in Vegas for the Washington Wizards in their 96-85 loss to the Spurs. He had three points in four minutes.

His teammate Xavier Cooks had an excellent outing for Washington with 16 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and three blocks.
