Cleveland has signed a Two-Year deal which will see him in Adelaide until the end of NBL24.

He averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.2 blocks across 30 games in NBL22.

Head Coach CJ Bruton says that the signing of Cleveland shows the 36ers’ desire to win a championship.

“It’s great to have Antonius as a 36er. He’s coming off a fantastic NBL season and is a high-quality player with an excellent basketball IQ. This signing shows the Club’s intent to compete for the NBL23 title,” said Bruton.

Cleveland joins Adelaide’s roster which currently has Mitch McCarron, Sunday Dech, Anthony Drmic, Hyrum Harris, Kyrin Galloway, Daniel Johnson and Kai Sotto contracted for next season. The 36ers also signed Nick Marshall as a development player.

It has also been rumoured that Brisbane Bullets import Robert Franks will also join the 36ers in NBL23. The big man shares the same agent as Cleveland and it has been reported that they are in deep discussions with the club.

The NBL23 season will start around late September-early October.
